HEAD START
HEAD START is a federally funded preschool program, which is provided in your community by Okanogan County Child Development Association. Head Start helps all children succeed including children with special needs and disabilities. Most children in Head Start are between the ages of three and five years old.
EARLY HEAD START
EARLY HEAD START is a federally funded program, which is provided in your community by Okanogan county Child Development Association. We are a family centered, home-based and center-based program, serving low-income expectant mothers, infants or toddlers and their families.old.
ECEAP
ECEAP: The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is a whole-child, family-focused preschool program designed to help low-income and at-risk children and their families succeed in school and life. Four- and three-year-old children and their families that are at 110% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible. This includes families receiving public assistance, children in foster care, and parents with limited incomes who are working or in school.
RHV
The Rural Home Visiting (RHV) program is a home visiting program providing family focused services to expectant parents, families with new babies, and families with young children to support the physical, social, and emotional health of the child. OCCDA utilizes the Parents as Teachers Curriculum Model for home visiting programs.
IMAGINATION LIBRARY
OCCDA is an affiliate for Dolly Parton’s Imagination LIbrary Program. This program provides free, high quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until the age of five. Books are mailed to each child monthly at no cost. All children between birth and five living in Okanogan County and Bridgeport are eligible.
